Pilliga 1
2012

I love travelling through the tall trees and thick scrub of the Pilliga - so many different plant species in this 'million wild acres' (the title of the book by Eric Rolls that claims the area was once open plains, but the advent of the squatter in the 1800s encouraged pine trees to grow, which in their turn sheltered many other understorey species.
