Trephina Creek bed

‘All gorged out’ the tourists report after a day trip around the MacDonnells. We take two weeks and hardly scratch the surface, I can’t get enough of these magical places. My affair with Trephina started 50 years ago, and it impresses me now even more with its sense of spirituality, its glowing colours and imposing River gums. Painting here is a long slow meditation.
