Ruby Gap shady camp
 

This grassy ledge overlooking the Hale River was my camp for a couple of mornings while working on the spectacular gorge scenery. There’s a peaceful feeling as if this place has sheltered campers for centuries – the traditional owners, the miners, today’s nomads, artists.
