Glen Helen spicks and specks

In Aboriginal tradition, plants and landforms were spirit beings created at the dawn of time, and their power still exists in the landscape they created. Beyond the ancient eucalypts is the steep wall of Glen Helen Gorge sculpted from four or five million-year-old orange-yellow pacoota sandstone. I am a newcomer, and feel very small.
