Georgina gidgee

Georgina gidgee is an acacia from the Georgina River basin and parts of the NT, “a small, rather gnarled tree, pods broad, flat, curled. Especially in drought, the leaves are grazed and the pods are eagerly sought by sheep and cattle, however, the seeds and pods can be very poisonous, the leaves less so. Some trees appear to be non-toxic”. Win some, lose some.
